In another exciting addition to its expanding suite of products, Budget Direct has today launched its latest insurance cover, Personal Accident.
Budget Direct Personal Accident Insurance provides peace of mind for as little as $2 a week, by offering Australians and their families a measure of financial protection if death or injury occurs as a result of an accident.
Lump sum payments are provided for a range of accidents, as well as benefits including home renovation, vocational retraining and education, to assist following an injury.
Benefits are payable on top of any Medicare, workers’ compensation, superannuation, private health insurance or third party insurance payouts, to which a customer may be entitled.
Budget Direct customers receive the first 60 days cover free.
“The addition of Personal Accident Insurance means Budget Direct can now provide cover to Australians if they suffer a qualifying injury, no matter where it takes place. This includes overseas, and even while playing sport. As soon as we take your application over the phone you will be covered,” says Antony Dunstan from Budget Direct.
There are no medical examinations required and no cancellation fees, ever. Benefits can range from $750 for a broken leg to $400,000 for a permanent injury such as quadriplegia. Exclusions apply.
Budget Direct Personal Accident Insurance is underwritten by AIG Australia Limited.
