We’re pleased to announce that the Budget Direct Rewards program is evolving, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to bring you a brand new experience.

To make way for these changes, the current Budget Direct Rewards program will conclude at 11:59PM AEST on 30 November 2025. Existing members can use the current program until this date. A copy of the T’s and C’s can be viewed here.

A new program will be launched in due course. Details will be made available via Online Policy Manager under the Rewards tab.

This figure includes estimated savings from purchases made using discounted eGift Cards and other promotional offers across participating retailers, including Budget Direct Fuel Discounts from Rewards members. Joining

How do I join Budget Direct Rewards?

If you hold two or more insurance policies with us, you’ll be invited to join our rewards program. To start enjoying the program’s benefits, you must activate your membership.

Where can I find my membership details?

To find your membership details:

  1. Log into your online account
  2. Click on the ‘Rewards’ button
  3. View your membership details (your member number and one-time PIN).

Can’t find your membership details? Contact us for help.

Do I need an email address to use the program?

Yes — to activate your Budget Direct Rewards membership, you must supply us with a valid email address.

My membership details don't work — what now?

Please contact us for help.

I'm eligible for the rewards program but have not been invited to join — what now?

If you have two or more insurance policies with us but haven’t yet been invited to join Budget Direct Rewards, please contact us. If you only recently purchased a second policy, please allow up to 48 hours for us to process your invitation.

Using your rewards

Do I receive a membership card?

Rather than a physical card, members are issued with a digital card built into the app under ‘My Profile’.

I've forgotten my Rewards password — what must I do?

If you forget your Budget Direct Rewards password, follow these steps.

Load the Budget Direct Rewards app.

Under ‘Sign in’, use the forgot password link.

Follow the prompts.

How long does my membership last?

Your membership starts on the day you activate it and is valid for 12 months. After 12 months (and assuming you still hold two or more Budget Direct insurance policies), we’ll renew your membership for another 12 months automatically.

I don't own a smartphone — can I still use the rewards program?

You will have limited options to access our full range of benefits. However, we still offer exclusive deals that we send via email

My discount was not honoured — what now?

In the unlikely event a discount or deal is not honoured by a merchant, please contact us and we’ll help you sort it out.
