Here’s how to get your Budget Direct Skill up and running with Alexa

Once you’ve set up your Amazon device, you’re ready to connect to the Budget Direct Skill.

On mobile

  1. Open the Alexa app

  2. In the search bar type Budget Direct

  3. When you see the Budget Direct Skill, click Enable. If you don’t see the Budget Direct Skill it could mean you need to adjust your country settings to Australia.

    Click here to change your country settings to Australia. Then try again.

On computer’s web browser

  1. Visit amazon.com.au and log into your account.

  2. Under the main or departments menu look for ‘Echo and Alexa’, click on Alexa Skills and then search for Budget Direct.

  3. You’ll then see a page with the Budget Direct Skill. Click on Budget Direct or the Budget Direct logo to get to the Skill page. If you don’t see the Budget Direct Skill it could mean you need to adjust your country settings to Australia.

    Click here to change your country settings to Australia. Then try again.

The Budget Direct Skill is now linked on your Amazon device!

The Budget Direct Skill is provided free to Budget Direct customers, although the user may incur data charges when enabling and using the Skill, which will not be paid for by Budget Direct.

Frequently asked questions

Why can’t Alexa answer my questions?

Alexa may not be able to answer your questions because the question you are asking is currently not part of the Budget Direct Skill. Budget Direct will continually update the Budget Direct Skill with new features.

Can I use the Budget Direct Skill via Google assistance or Google home?

No, for now the Budget Direct Skill is limited to use via Amazon Echo and Alexa-enabled devices.

I keep getting an error message that there is a geographical restriction. How do I resolve this?

This message is occurring as your country has not been selected in your Amazon account. You can set this up by following the instructions here.
