A&G Insurance Services has been awarded Queensland Call Centre of the Year for the second year in a row by peak industry body ATA. Located in the Kawana Business Village, and recognised as one of the Sunshine Coasts largest employers, for A&G these awards recognise achievements at the highest level.
With 40 staff attending the Gala event held in the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre’s Plaza Ballroom, A&G dominated the night with staff collecting six finalist awards, Call Centre Manager of the Year, Team Leader of the Year, and the pinnacle accolade of Call Centre of the Year.
A&Gs signature brand Budget Direct has also recently won Money magazine’s Insurer of the Year, highlighting the overall success of the company.
ATA CEO Michael Meredith said our award process is very structured and centres must have the fundamental core aspects in place. Entrants are subject to detailed questionnaires, site visits, and interviews and they must tick all the right boxes to be considered.
“We look at over a 100 different characteristics of the business including physical facilities, technology and how it’s used, training, rewards, employee satisfaction, and of course customer satisfaction is a large component.
“The bulk of our industry is inbound services and Australian call centres receive around 16 million calls per day with a population of only 23 million,” Mr Meredith said.
As the reigning winners from last year, the Sunshine Coast based call centre and individual staff winners will now compete to hold onto the national title for two years in a row. Last year was the first time the accolade has been received by a Contact Centre in Queensland.
With state-of-the-art modern facilities, excellent award programs and career advancement opportunities A&G are now hiring. For more information please visit the Budget Direct Careers site
