Social media identifies Australia's happiest customers

It’s official: not only are Budget Direct customers smart – they’re also the happiest in Australia.

Insurance provider Budget Direct has just won the 2015 ServiceRage Happiest Customer Awards in the car and home insurance category. The awards, presented by independent social media monitoring website ServiceRage, recognise companies which have the highest percentage of positive feedback on social media from their customers over the previous 12 months.

This is the second year in a row Budget Direct has won the award, and the company is thrilled its customers are yet again the happiest in Australia, says Jonathan Kerr, Director, Marketing & Digital, Budget Direct.

“Everyone knows Budget Direct is price competitive and offers great features, but we really pride ourselves on providing fantastic service, recognised here through positive customer feedback,” says Mr Kerr.

“People want to know they can trust their insurance provider to be there for them in their time of need. Social media is helping to inform such choices; what better way to find out who is the best than through real life experiences of other customers?” It’s been a big year for the challenger insurer which has also been named Money magazine’s 2015 Insurer of the Year, and Canstar’s Outstanding Value Car Insurance provider for the ninth year in a row.
