Are my children and / or grandchildren covered under my single Budget Direct travel insurance policy?
Yes, children are covered for free provided that they are dependant on you, less than 21 years of age and travelling with you.
When should I purchase my Budget Direct travel insurance policy?
Cover for cancellation of your journey and the loss of deposits is in place immediately after your policy is purchased and is not subject to your dates of travel. It is therefore recommended that you purchase travel insurance immediately after paying for your trip.
What area must I select when choosing a Budget Direct Travel Insurance policy?
Regions are rated in order of price from highest to lowest: Worldwide, Europe, Asia, Pacific. If you are travelling to the USA, Canada, Africa, Japan, China, Hong Kong, South America or the Middle East, select WORLDWIDE. Remember that when you buy a policy for a specific region, you are automatically covered for the lesser destinations. So for example, with a Worldwide policy you are covered for anywhere else in the World or with a Europe policy you are also covered for Asia & the Pacific.
