When you have a Contents Insurance policy with Budget Direct, you can choose to take out our Personal Effects Cover.
Our Personal Effects cover will insure you for accidental loss or damage of your personal belongings anywhere in Australia and New Zealand, and anywhere in the world for up to 30 days after your departure from Australia.

Motor Burn Out*
You can choose to take out optional Motor Burnout insurance, which covers you for loss or damage to electric motors in the home.
If you choose to take out our Motor Burnout cover, we'll also pay for spoilage of perishable food in your refrigerator or freezer as a result of motor burnout.

Accidental Damage*
With Budget Direct, you can choose to take out cover for Accidental Damage.
Accidental Damage cover will insure you for accidental loss or damage to your home and contents as a result of an accident, which occurs at the insured address.
