THE STARS ARE SHINING BRIGHT FOR LOCAL EMPLOYER AUSTRALIAN INSURANCE HOLDINGS AT ANNUAL AWARDS NIGHT
The fashion stakes were high on Saturday night when Australian Insurance Holdings held their annual “Night of the stars 2006 Sales Award” at the Ripples Room- Maroochydore RSL.
With nearly 100 sales staff competing for top spot, it was an elated Ilana Abram who took out the coveted “Consultant of the Year” award while Jenny Brock received “Manager of the Year”.
Australian Insurance Holdings Call Centre Director of Operations Gerry O’Shaughnessy said: “It’s a well-anticipated annual event that allows us to thank the staff that deal with thousands of phone calls every day. They really are an incredible team and truly deserve this special night of praise.”
There were many sales people who were commended on the night with 10 different categories and over 40 awards that included significant cash amounts and weekends away at Couran Cove Resort located on South Stradbroke Island.
Australian Insurance Holdings is now one of the biggest employers on the Sunshine Coast and is due to complete construction on its new $7.5 million contact centre at Kawana Waters Business Village in June this year.
The new 2,200 square metre three-level centre will house up to 280 staff and facilitate the insurance company’s intensive expansion program of its signature car and home and contents insurance brand – low-cost, best quality insurance provider Budget Direct – as well as the service capabilities of Australian Insurance Holdings’ growing Affinities portfolio.
