Since arriving in Australia in 1999, Budget Direct has experienced exceptional growth and now employs nearly 400 people in Australia. Combining our international experience and knowledge with our high quality service standards, we're constantly increasing our market share as more Australians switch to Budget Direct's smarter car insurance.

In Australia, our policies are underwritten by Auto & General Insurance Company Limited. Auto & General Insurance Company is also part of the international insurance group Budget Insurance group and is authorised by the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA). The company also holds an Australian Financial Services License.
